Hello world!
How do I rank myself on the technology scale? Hmmm…I use computers a lot, but I can’t fix them. I know how to use most programs (and prefer them all to be run on a mac). As long as I can easily sign up for things (such as this weblog) everything is fine, but I would have no idea how to create anything like this on my own. I consider myself to be average in terms of computers and technology. I do text message, but I am pretty slow at it (I’d rather talk on the phone itself rather than text). Visual/design? Umm, I’ll go with a no there. I can’t create anything that would be used, I am really bad with photos or online/computer art and I just don’t go there. As far as the 658 syllabus goes, it all looks pretty straightforward. So, my main question is can just anybody read this? I do not think there will be many people who are not in the course who will find this information of the utmost importance. It probably won’t even make sense (or maybe just mine won’t). I will wait to ask any pressing questions about the projects because I am sure they will be answered in class, but they sound interesting on first glance. I am hoping that I learn a little more about the internet/technology through the course. I mean, look at me, I am already creating a blog.
